amazing... but short...
Suzanne Vega at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia, what an amazing show I saw! A couple months later, I saw them at the Newport Center in Columbus Ohio, they cut the concert extremely short. They still left the crowd wanting more even after the fans chanted for them to come back on stage and play an encore. I'm not sure the reasoning behind the two shows, but I can assure you that I was displeased with the second in Newport. One of their classic songs, 'Poster of a Girl,' was performed in Philly but not in Columbus. I hope they are not getting too big of an ego with their increase in fan base. As always, it was a great show, just wished there was more to the second performance in Columbus.
